Why this resource exists

Afterline is an independent resource on ibogaine, veteran health questions, research, safety, and policy. It exists to help veterans, military families, caregivers, and advocates understand evidence, uncertainty, legal constraints, and informed next steps.

The resource is built for people who want clear context without pressure or promises. Our main guide to ibogaine questions facing veterans provides the broader starting point; this page explains the standards behind that work.

Our editorial approach

We organize information around the questions people commonly face: what is known, what remains uncertain, what official sources say, and where careful judgment is needed. Our resource approach and topic pathways are designed to make those distinctions easier to find.

Information is reviewed against registries, published literature, and primary official materials where they are available. We treat research as a process rather than a verdict; the ClinicalTrials.gov study registry is one example of a public source that can show how research questions are being formally examined.
